Healthy relationships start with feeling respected and being safe. You have the right to feel respected in all your relationships, this includes feeling safe with friends and family members. Relationship behaviour that is abusive is never o.k and may involve emotional, physical, sexual abuse and neglect.
If you are worried about unhealthy, abusive, or violent behaviour in any of your relationships, it is important to talk to a trusted adult and to get help. Remember:
Abuse is never okay, no matter who is doing it or what they do.
Abuse is never your fault, no matter where it happened or how it happened.
Telling someone is the first step. If you don’t get help at first, don’t give up - tell someone else you can trust until you get the help you need. The following services are also available: (click on the logo to access the site)
