It’s normal for adolescents to experience changes and challenges as they figure out who they are, what they stand for, and what they want out of life. Part of helping your teenager to develop into an independent adult is by respecting their choices – providing support and guidance, but also providing space for them to work things out for themselves.
If your teenager is going through some challenging times; feeling stressed; suffering from anxiety or depression; or has some relationship problems, and this has started to affect what they normally enjoy or do, then it's important to seek support.
This website provides links to trusted organisations with fact sheets, Apps, Helplines and online services that can assist you in supporting your teenager as they face overwhelming challenges. You can also seek advice and support from your local G.P and consult with the school’s wellbeing team.
