Uniforms

When students wear a school uniform, they feel included in our school community.

Students, teachers, parents and carers, as well as members of our local community helped develop our school uniform to make sure it:

  • meets the requirements of occupational health and safety, anti-discrimination and equal opportunity legislation

  • includes items that are affordable, comfortable and made from easy-care and easy-wear fabrics

  • is appropriate for the full range of school activities

  • is suitable for all body shapes.

Riverside Girls High School uniform

A school’s reputation is largely determined by the way the students wear their uniform. We want to present the best image of the school in the wider community.

The partnership between school and home is vital in establishing clear guidelines for uniform.

By choosing to enrol at Riverside Girls High School you are accepting that we are a uniform school and that you will abide by the uniform policy. At enrolment, parents and prospective students are asked to sign a School Uniform Agreement. All students are to wear the school uniform each day during school hours, while travelling to and from school, and when engaged in school activities out of school hours.

Riverside Girls High School has a proud tradition in the community. We insist that the correct uniform is worn to reflect the values of the school and to show that Riverside Girls High School is a remarkable place.
