"Generation Start Up"

How lucky were we to have Cheryl Mack from the famous StartCon Team come and judge our year 7ICT Entrepreneurship pitches?

The students did an excellent job pitching their ideas to the judges which included our Principal Belinda Kelly, and the audience was blown away by their confidence, grit and ingenuity.

For some year 7, this was the first time they spoke on a stage. Collaboration was vital during this unit and students were taken through the design thinking model where they conceptualised from opportunities what the "next big thing" is and how they imagine it would look like.

Their ideas consisted of products, systems and services beyond the scope of the project and all students seemed to have a common theme-  sustainability and equality which was wonderful to see and hear.
