Another Amazing Exchange Experience

Last year I was lucky enough to have an amazing experience of travelling to Italy on a student exchange for 3 months in winter. Whilst on my exchange I got to meet and live with a beautiful family, visit amazing places in northern Italy, ski on the Italian slopes and go to school with Italians students. Celebrating and experiencing Christmas traditions with another family was new and incredible. I lived near a city called Bologna, I visited many other cities like Milan, Venice, Florence, San Pellegrino, Parma, Ferrara and Rome. Culture in Italy is very different to Australia, I ate pasta every day and had pizza once a week.

School went from 8am-1pm every day, 6 days a week. I met many new friends that I still stay in contact with today and I now have a second family that I will continue to go to visit throughout my life.  The experience of living on the other side of the world is something that changed my life and I will never forget it. – I heartily recommend it.
