Riverside Student Awarded Prestigious Indigenous Scholarship
The GO Foundation and the Public Education Foundation are delighted to announce the scholarship recipients for
the inaugural GO - J.B. Fairfax Scholarships and the GO Foundation Scholarships.
All GO Foundation scholarship programs support Indigenous students at public schools in NSW, providing them with
a combination of financial assistance, cultural mentoring, leadership training and career support to successfully
complete high school and move into further education.
A 2018 recipient of the $2,500 GO Foundation Scholarships is:
• Taleisha, Riverside Girls High School
Michael O’Loughlin, Co-Founder of the GO Foundation said: “The GO Foundation is very proud to be awarding its first public school scholarships through the Public Education Foundation. The first recipients of the GO Scholarships through PEF are aspiring and hard working and we are looking forward to seeing them fly with this support.”
The GO Foundation seeks to empower Indigenous youth through education. Founded by Adam Goodes and Michael O’Loughlin in 2009, the GO Foundation continues to expand its Indigenous Scholarship Program to address specific areas of need.
